Bobcat Brand Product Specialist
As a Bobcat Brand Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing efforts of the Bobcat brand. You will be responsible for providing in-depth product knowledge, and exceptional customer service to both internal teams and external customers. Your primary focus will be on promoting and educating individuals about the various Bobcat products, their features, and their benefits.
- Product Expertise: Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Bobcat product line, including skid-steer loaders, compact track loaders, compact excavators, utility vehicles, and attachments. Stay updated on product specifications, performance capabilities, and industry trends.
- Customer Support: Act as a primary point of contact for sales teams, dealerships, and the manufacturer. Provide timely and accurate information regarding product inquiries, technical assistance, and troubleshooting. Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
- Training and Presentations: Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to both internal employees and external stakeholders. Communicate the value proposition and key differentiators of Bobcat products effectively. Train sales personnel on product features, competitive advantages, and sales strategies.
- Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and support sales activities. Assist with product configuration, specifications, and pricing. Provide assistance during trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as required. Also work closely with dealership, and manufacturer to build, and support the Bobcat brand.
- Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date on the market dynamics, industry trends, and competitor activities. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, customer needs, and potential product enhancements. Provide feedback to the product development and marketing teams for continuous improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions. Prepare regular reports on product performance, market trends, and customer feedback. Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing sales and marketing strategies.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction equipment, compact machinery, or industrial equipment industry
Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly grasp complex product features and specifications
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and concise manner
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This is not a “work from home” position, and will be based out of our Selkirk NY location.
