Advertising Account Manager
The Aspen Times is looking for a goal oriented, well-organized sales professional with exceptional customer service skills. As an Advertising Account Manager, you will have a good working knowledge of the local market, with an appreciation of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
• Sell digital/print marketing solutions to local established businesses.
• Be able to prospect, develop and grow new accounts.
• Sell special theme pages, directories, magazines and assist in coordinating and creating events.
• Collect AR and keep accounts payable within company goals.
• Develop and help brainstorm creative advertising campaigns on a regular basis.
• Work in a timely manner and meet all established deadlines.
• Attend sales and other community meetings as required.
Qualifications:
• College degree preferred.
• 5+ years prior sales experience.
• Strong ability to develop new relationships.
• Must have good communication skills, including strong grammar and spelling skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and sales related programs.
Salary and commission-based compensation is $75-$85K, or higher depending upon sales. This position includes a great benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and bonus opportunities.
